​Jake Calver is the VP – Head of E-Mobility in New York City.

I have over 8 years’ experience recruiting across a variety of sectors including consulting, financial services and most recently renewable energy and clean technologies. I have worked a variety of specialist industry focused roles across the united states.

​

I was brought into Piper Maddox to help develop and grow the brand across North America. We specialize within E-Mobility which is separated into four separate areas; Tier 1 suppliers, OEM, Battery Charging & Autonomous Vehicles. We work with some exciting companies across the breadth of NA to ensure the innovative world of E-Mobility is growing and effectively being supported.

Why Piper Maddox and the clean energy sector?

The reason I joined Piper Maddox and the E-Mobility team is to work in an industry that’s actually focused on making a difference in the world, that had a legacy. The idea that government intervention and investors taking charge of our future on the planet. The exciting variety of different organizations trying to challenge the status quo and re-imagine something that we’ve been doing the same way since the invention of the internal combustion engine.

I have lived in 5 different countries and 2 different states and love experiencing different cultures and food when I travel. I’m an avid fitness enthusiast but more to justify

the volume of food I eat when I do go and see the world.
