Leading investor, developer and operator across Europe with over 5GW of grid capacity secured.

Over the last decade, this IPP has been on a successful journey to become a major player within the European onshore renewables space. They have been on an important mission to generate and produce as much energy from renewable sources as possible.

They have grown to play a vital role across all stages of the project lifecycle, beginning their support at investment stages. They also develop projects themselves but have seen additional success through their joint ventures in the space. They have teamed up with key players in the space for multi-gigawatt projects, developing and constructing out pipelines. They have over 5GW of grid connection capacity secured themselves. Finally, they work closely with EPC partners to construct assets as well as with their own asset operation and management teams.

Over the last 10 years, they have heavily expanded over this time period, working across the UK, Germany and Italy. Their key technologies are solar, energy storage and wind, with over 11GW across Europe being developed. They also work across DCO projects in this space too! Their pan European team now stands at over 100 people, with this set to continue to grow over the coming years.

The role:
This position is a crucial part of their next stage of growth. You'd have the opportunity to play a key part in their technical division and also their UK team. You'd work closely with the European Head of Grid and Chief Technical Officer as well as other Directors across development and engineering.

The position is more than just grid design or management; you'll be working through development and execution stages of these renewable projects. There would also be the potential to grow your own team of grid engineers to support the growth of the companies pipeline and team.
The main elements to this position can be summarised as:
- Working on electrical engineering at a high voltage. The current pipeline is a mixture of both distribution and transmission, so knowledge of 132kV would be essential and 400kV would be highly regarded.
- Managing multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to ensure project are delivered timely to a high standard.
- Knowledge and experience with the UK grid code.
- Strong communication skills to negotiate with and manage relationships with DNOs, TSOs, ICPs and iDNOS.
- A strong understanding of other relevant engineering elements to energy technologies, including civil engineering and construction.

This is a great opportunity to develop skills through the full project lifecycle, gaining experience at execution and development stages. You'd be supported by the rest of the technical and development divisions.

I've partnered with a developer of brownfield battery storage projects seeking a Development Director. The Director of Development will lead the development of a diverse, robust pipeline of utility-scale brownfield Battery Energy Storage projects. They will work with the development team members and other disciplines across the company to ensure projects are hitting key milestones towards a successful completion. This is one of the leading players in residential solar, having been founded in 2009, and they've been picking up their market activity exponentially over the last few years. With over $1BB of capital raised already, and an established $150MM tax-equity fund, and 170MW of operational assets spanning across 26 different states, they have positioned themselves quite competitively for the next decade. They are also actively engaging in a number of long-term partnership discussions with Fortune 500 organizations, from both an asset and software perspective, so their capabilities are definitely multi-faceted beyond simply homeowner energy production. They are looking for a VP/Director of Capital Markets to act as the deal-lead for the organization, manage the origination, execution, and management of tax-equity financings in order to underwrite their project pipeline effectively, and deepen the relationships with these financiers further, to ensure long term partnerships are in place. The ideal candidate would have: • At least 8 years of professional experience within the context of renewable energy project finance • Expert level financial modelling ability, specifically within the context of tax-equity • Direct experience negotiating tax-equity transactions, and at least 1 successfully closed deal
