Ranging from Cells, Module, Packs for use within a multitude of uses in the energy storage industry.
Due to significant growth with a new product our client is hiring for a Research & Development Manager to join their battery cell manufacturing site in West France.
Requirements:
- Must have experience with Solid State Battery Manufacture
- Must have experience with Polymer materials used in battery cell development
- Must have English speaking ability
- 10 Years battery experience
- PhD in relevant studies
The role:
Within the electrochemistry division and under the responsibility of the Electrochemistry Director, you will manage the team working on the latest generation of polymers for lithium batteries. In this role, you will oversee the following areas:
- Manage a team of about twenty people spread between France and Canada.
- Monitor and coordinate research work, particularly on the development of electrolytes and cathodes incorporating these polymers.
- Contribute to achieving R&D milestones and delivering associated outputs to the team.
- Ensure effective communication between different teams.
- Follow the launched research programs (European, French, etc.)
This is a great opportunity for a Project Manager who has significant experience in Solid State Batteries to develop into a management opportunity.
The position will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships inside and outside the business.
Based in Brittany France, however, will be required to travel throughout Europe and Northern America.
