Senior In-House Legal Counsel - Solar/BESS - Outskirts of London

Piper Maddox are exclusively representing an international IPP to hire a Senior In-House Legal Counsel to own their property side of the business.

This company has over a 2.5GW pipeline that will aid the progression to a net-zero future and they need a Legal Counsel for Real Estate who can lead from the front.

You'd be joining a team of experienced professionals and would be offering a skillset that is an absolute essential in their team.

You'll be working closely with their dev team to make sure land leases, options, and other property related agreements are completed for a smooth transition into the next step in their developments.

What would your role look like?:
-Working on drafting options; leases; property related documents.
-Carrying out an DD on their property matters.
-Working to manage external lawyers and with their funders solicitors.
-Assisting on training new people within their team.
-Leading on all property matters in the UK team.
-Working closely with land development team.
-Assessing risk on all transactions.
