An globally recognized vehicle manufacturer is actively looking to grow their simulation & testing department by bringing in a new Senior or Specialist.

 

This part of the group covers but isn't limited to material and structures and works with a variety of international offices on various projects and products. This role will have you working directly on FEA and mechanical testing.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the testing and simulations of various in-house built and 3rd party acquired components.
  • Performing a variety of stress test to understand material strength, integrity, composition and more.
  • Working on processes like, ultrasonic assessments, torque testing, linear and non-linera material evaluation.

 

Ideal background

  • Holds' a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering (preference would be a Master's degree)
  • 6+ years' experience within the automotive industry within a simulation or testing environment
  • Practical understanding of ANSYS and Python
  • Strong appetite to grow/learn
