My client is a leading renewables business who are looking for an urgent hire to grow their engineering division: a Grid Connection Expert. You would be joining 50 people in 5+ countries, with Germany being their key focus.

 

The current pipeline is just under 800 MW of utility-scale solar and BESS, for which they need an expert to lead the grid connection processes. If you’re a motivated individual looking to be in a fast-paced and dynamic business, then this is the role for you!

 

Grid Connection Expert:

  • Salary: Up to €100, 000 base (depending on experience) + bonus
  • Location: Office in North Germany but can be REMOTE
  • A leading developer focused on expanding their European portfolio, with 15 people in Germany

 

What do you need?

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience with high-voltage grid connections in Germany
  • Knowledge of VDE-AR N 4110, 4120, and 4130
  • Experience liaising with grid operators (netzbetreiber) - DSOs & TSOs
  • Electrical Engineering degree
  • Fluent German

This is a senior position within the group with the potential to grow a team around this role. Previous experience with leadership would be highly regarded for this opportunity. As this is a senior position in the team, we're also open to various backgrounds of skills. Experience from within other consultancies, NESO, DNOs or advisory companies would also be great for this role. You'll be joining a team of 14 engineers, with a significantly developed pipeline - 850 MW to get stuck into, with even more on the way!This is a mid-level role, for which you will be the in-house expert for substations. You will be the interface between the grid & construction team, helping to plan high-voltage substations and support the process up until commissioning. You need to be able to hit the ground running and provide guidance to the wider team...Ingenieur für Umspannwerke - Onshore Wind / Engineer for Substations - Onshore Wind Salary: Up to €85, 000 + bonus.Location: 3 office locations - 2 in North Germany and 1 in South-West Germany. Can be remote for the right candidate.Please note this position is listed as 'Remote' due to multiple office locations. It can be remote for the perfect candidate.
