Senior Grid Engineering Manager

Senior Grid Engineering Manager role with a leading EPC, who are looking to grow their team through this crucial addition to concentrate on the design process of photovoltaic systems. The company are a renowned Pan-European EPC and O&M provider based in Spain currently working across 6 countries in Europe delivering late-stage support across solar and BESS projects at utility scale. This company is a diverse international company who value enthusiastic individuals with a key interest in climate protection and the affordability of energy supply.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing/Overseeing the design process of photovoltaic systems 
  • Overseeing the design process of photovoltaic systems an internal team of engineers with the additional focus on the analysis of customer technical requirements.
  • Coordinating and preparing technical designs including the procurement of goods and materials, services and supplier documents.
  • Preparing technical specifications and supplier’s documents to enable procurement of materials and plant detailed design.
  • Support in the selection of the most appropriate photovoltaic technologies (solar panels, inverters, support structures, storage systems, etc).
  • Working to optimize plant performance, improving energy efficiency and reducing installation and maintenance costs
  • Monitoring project progress from design to implementation
  • The ability to sign off on electrical projects, with a background in grid connection expertise within the Spanish E-Distribution networks.
  • Collaborating with other company divisions, such as procurement, sales, and legal


Your Profile:

  • Fluent in Spanish, Italian & English.
  • A master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Registered in the Engineers register (AIPE), with the ability to sign off on electrical projects.
  • Several years of professional experience as a senior engineer in a construction company or technical/consulting company
  • Must have: Knowledge of the transmission or distribution industry, of LV/MV electrical design for utility scale PV sites and of electrical norms (eg. CEI 0-16)
  • Knowledge of electrical design softwares (eg. AutoCAD, Amper, PVSyst, PVCase, Proled, etc.)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities, exceptional time management and ability to solve problems.

Experience from within other consultancies, NESO, DNOs or advisory companies would also be great for this role. The Procurement Manager will lead procurement and supply chain operations for Wyoming, with potential future oversight across additional U.S. mining sites. This role focuses on optimizing purchasing processes, improving warehousing systems, managing supplier relationships, and supporting efficient mine operations. Location: Casper, WY (no remote flexibility) Key Responsibilities Oversee local purchasing of materials, equipment, and services.Lead sourcing, negotiations, and supplier management.Standardize and improve procurement processes with scalability for multi-site operations.Collaborate with site and corporate leadership to align purchasing strategy with operational goals.Build and manage efficient warehousing, logistics, and inventory control systems.Manage staff, budgets, inventory levels, and timely delivery of materials to operating and project sites.Support forecasting, cost-saving initiatives, and future expansion needs.
