Deine Rolle
In dieser Executive Position übernimmst du als Country Manager die Verantwortung für alle BESS-Aktivitäten in Deutschland. Du agierst als Gesicht und treibende Kraft des Unternehmens am deutschen Markt, leitest die strategische Entwicklung und stellst die erfolgreiche Umsetzung aller Projekte sicher.

Gesucht wird eine erfahrene Führungspersönlichkeit mit tiefgreifender Expertise in der Entwicklung großskaliger BESS-Projekte sowie ausgeprägtem finanziellem und kommerziellem Verständnis im Bereich der erneuerbaren Energien. In dieser leitenden Rolle trägst du die volle Verantwortung für das BESS-Portfolio und baust ein leistungsstarkes Team um dich herum auf.

Zu deinen Aufgaben gehören:
• Strategische und operative Leitung des deutschen Geschäfts inklusive voller P&L-Verantwortung.
• Führung der End-to-End-Entwicklung und Umsetzung von BESS-Projekten – von Greenfield-Originierung und Flächensicherung über Genehmigungen, RTB, Inbetriebnahme bis hin zum Betrieb.
• Steuerung von Projektbudgets und Forecasts, Erstellung von Berichten und Business Cases.
• Aufbau, Führung und Weiterentwicklung eines Teams aus Expert:innen für Projektentwicklung, Engineering und technische Umsetzung.
• Repräsentation des Unternehmens in Deutschland und Aufbau von Beziehungen zu Behörden, Partnern, Stakeholdern und Regulierungsstellen.

My client is a well-established pan-European IPP with more than 15 years of experience and operations across nearly 10 countries.
With a development pipeline exceeding 200 projects and over 6GW of renewable capacity (of which more than 3GW is BESS) they are ahead of the market curve and now looking to strengthen their presence in Germany.

Your Role
As Country Manager, you will act as the company’s ambassador and driving force for all BESS activities in Germany, ensuring market growth and excellence in project delivery. You will oversee the full lifecycle of development and execution while setting the strategic direction for the business.

I am looking for someone with deep experience in large-scale BESS project development, alongside strong financial and commercial acumen in the renewable energy sector. Leadership will be central to this role, as you take full ownership of the BESS portfolio and build a high-performing team around you.

You will be responsible for:
• Leading and managing the end-to-end development and execution of BESS projects: from greenfield origination and land acquisition through permitting, RTB, commissioning, and operation.
• Providing strategic and operational leadership for the German business, including full P&L responsibilities.
• Overseeing project budgets and forecasts, preparing reports, and building business cases.
• Growing and mentoring a team of market experts across project development, engineering, and technical execution.
• Acting as the company’s representative across Germany, building relationships with authorities, partners, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.

The company develops, finances, and operates solar, battery, and microgrid projects across the United States, partnering with leading EPCs, developers, and energy companies to deliver high-quality, distributed generation infrastructure.
