Team Lead Solutions Manager - BESS

Poland (Remote)

Up to 420,000 PLN

 

A rare opportunity to join a global leader in BESS solutions systems as they continue to expand their presence in Poland and the wider Eastern European market. This role will sit at the heart of the technical pre-sales and solution-engineering team, developing competitive BESS solution proposals and technical packages to secure successful bids.

 

Representing a market leader in this technology, you will be tasked with growing out a successful solutions team across the CEE region, with excellent career progression and incentives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimise utility-scale BESS systems alongside the sales team to provide competitive engineering solutions.
  • Analyse and develop RFPs, assess technical risks and prepare technical tender documentation.
  • Track market standards, competitor offerings and grid requirements
  • Support the sales team throughout contract discussions
  • Feed insights to product and engineering teams to improve future designs

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy Engineering or similar
  • Over 5 years’ experience in energy storage, grid or utility-scale power projects
  • Strong understanding of battery systems, PCS/inverters and MV/HV grid connection
  • Knowledge of PPC, EMS or SCADA systems
  • Confident with AC/DC design, system sizing and protection concepts
  • Experience with lithium-ion (LFP) technologies

This role sits within a product-focused engineering group responsible for building and scaling data platforms used to monitor, optimise, and improve the performance of wind, solar, and energy storage assets globally. You will work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and platform teams to design and operate high-quality data pipelines that directly underpin operational decision-making and analytics for live energy assets. Key responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks (including Delta Live Tables).Develop robust ETL/ELT workflows ingesting data from operational, telemetry, and third-party systems.Optimise pipeline performance, reliability, and cost efficiency in cloud environments.Ensure data quality, lineage, governance, and documentation across production systems.Collaborate cross-functionally with analytics, product, and platform teams.Support CI/CD automation for data pipeline deployment.Contribute to reusable frameworks and engineering best practices within the team.
