Project Developer – Solar PV & BESS (Eastern Germany) ♻

 

We are working with a rapidly expanding renewable energy platform developing large-scale solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS) projects across Southern, Central, and Eastern Europe. Supported by a leading pan-European infrastructure investor, the company is committed to accelerating the energy transition and delivering lasting impact through significant CO₂ reduction.

 

 Location: Eastern Germany (Hybrid working)

Key Responsibilities

Project Development

  • Lead the full development lifecycle of ground-mounted solar and BESS projects, from site identification through to RTB stage.
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure suitable project sites
  • Manage zoning, land-use planning, and permitting procedures
  • Coordinate with grid operators to assess grid capacity, connection options, and technical compatibility
  • Ensure compliance with all technical, legal, and commercial requirements

Land Acquisition

  • Support land identification, evaluation, and securing processes
  • Prepare and conduct landowner negotiations in collaboration with legal teams
  • Present projects and negotiate with municipalities and local stakeholders

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with authorities, municipalities, grid operators, planners, consultants, and development partners
  • Coordinate and manage external consultants and service providers

 

Commercial & Financial Support

  • Support budgeting, project controlling, and reporting activities
  • Assist in financing processes and contribute to PPA negotiations

 

 Your Profile

  • Degree in engineering, energy, environmental sciences, industrial engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in renewable energy project development with a strong industry network
  • Solid understanding of regulatory, legal, and technical frameworks
  • Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong negotiation skills and confident communication style
