Role: Junior Electrical Design Engineer – Renewable Energy

Location: Rome or Milan (Flexible working available)

Salary: €35,000 DOE

My client is a specialist renewable energy engineering consultancy, and they are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to support the delivery of utility-scale PV, agrivoltaic and BESS projects across Italy.

Working within the technical team, the role focuses on MV and HV electrical design through to detailed and executive-level engineering, supporting developers, asset owners and EPC contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Electrical design of utility-scale PV and agrivoltaic plants
  • Preparation of layouts, single-line diagrams and technical reports
  • Engineering input across pre-feasibility, detailed and executive design stages
  • Technical support to proposals, procurement and project delivery
  • Interface with clients and project stakeholders as required

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical, Energy or Mechanical Engineering
  • 1–2 years’ experience in PV electrical design.
  • PVsyst and AutoCAD experience.
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics
  • Proficient in Excel and MS Office
  • Fluent in Italian and strong English skills
