This company has their eyes set on dominating the Electric Vehicle market and are aggressively growing their engineering team to accomplish this goal. Their first electric model recently launched with subsequent models/vehicles following. To help with this electrification process, they are searching for a Senior Power Electronics Engineer specifically for Mechanical Packaging. This is their first round of hiring, which can get you involved at a point of development where career growth and opportunity is inevitable.

What will I be doing?
* Package power electronics and create the interface to the chassis systems and battery, like inverter, charger, DC/DC converter.
* Establish interface, performance and functional specifications as well as troubleshoot assemblies, build prototype powertrain and perform failure analysis.
* Design thermal interfaces and enclosures for power electronics.

What experience do I need?
* At least 5 years of industry experience and a B.S. in mechanical, electrical or software engineering.
* Understanding of mechanical, thermal and electrical constraints HV systems and power electronics components.
* Experience with power electronics components, silicon, diodes, wide-band gap devices, MOSFETs, and IGBTs.
