​Piper Maddox has been engaged by one of the world’s largest private renewable energy companies, with large operating and development footprints in the United States, Canada, and Japan. Headquartered in the US, their global operational portfolio includes over utility-scale renewable energy facilities spanning wind, solar, and transmission.

 

This company is an independent, fully integrated energy company that develops, constructs, owns, and operates renewable energy projects and transmission assets. They focus primarily on wind, solar, and transmission. The team is dedicated to delivering the highest value for its customers, partners, financial supporters, and the communities, with a strong commitment to promoting environmental stewardship corporate responsibility.

 

This company was founded in 2009 as a renewable energy development start-up, offering a compelling risk-reward trade-off based on our capital access and management expertise with goals to building more than 4.5 GW of renewable energy projects worldwide. The business grew quickly and at this point has even IPO’ed. At the moment they have 33 operational facilities yielding over 17GW with 9 that are listed as in development, and they have a very strong pipeline of projects.

 

They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who will lead renewable project development with responsibility for project origination; project management including budget, schedule, achievement of development milestones; and relationship management. The Manager will also potentially support in project acquisitions, partnerships, and business unit refinement of business strategy. Day to day responsibilities include leading defined regional project development activities, leveraging existing resources for project advancement, and making project/portfolio investment recommendations.

 

This role can be remote for the right person with some travel to site and HQ.
