This organisation has been selling its chargers to consumers since mid 2019 and has had exponential growth since. They are now operating in multiple countries and have partnerships with some very well established companies.

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team.


What we want in your first 6 months:

*Develop new relationships with prospective customers to drive revenue and growth.
*Negotiate deals and contracts for commercial organisations, predominantly with resellers but also considering corporates & fleets.
*Define strategy to increase demand across commercial sectors, proving concept to closure.
*Ensuring clients' requirements are met by liaising with internal teams to deliver on projects and maximise performance.
*Prospecting & networking, staying up to date with external developments within the industry.
*Staying close with the internal sales team to ensure company's goals & targets are met.

Skills Experience:

*Strong Commercial Experience, proof of concept selling in solutions to fit/suit client's needs.
*Hunter - must be able to demonstrate how to expand the business starting from scratch.
*Self-motivated, highly organised with great attention to detail.
*Experience working with products that are considered to be technical and complex.
*The ability to learn quickly and talk confidently about technical products/solutions.
*Proven time management skills to ensure strict targets and deadlines are met.
*The ability to bring together a solution and coordinate moving parts to get sales, operations, development, marketing and finance all working together.
*Strong presentation skills & a good networker.


Bonus:

*Have knowledge about electric vehicles, electric vehicle charging & the wider moving parts in the sustainability industry i.e. energy grid management, demand side management, battery storage, solar etc.
*Minimum 3 years' experience in a business development / national account management role.
*The ability to work well within a fast paced, exciting environment.
