They are looking for a Chief Operating Officer to join their dynamic, supportive team to work remotely from anywhere in the United States.
The Chief Operating Officer will manage day-to-day operations to ensure divisions collaborate efficiently and achieve successful growth. The primary responsibility of the COO will be to operationalize strategic objectives, create the necessary structure to scale the business, and provide the resources needed to do so. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented and data-driven with a successful track record of adapting to variable business environments and needs.
As the Chief Operating Officer, you will:
Collaborate with executive team to make decisions regarding company's business strategy and operations, product and services development, and customer engagement tactics
Oversee specific areas of their business such as OKR development and reporting, bringing a thoughtful, supportive approach to create efficiencies and growth
Execute business plan, achieving or exceeding established P&L objectives
Manage People Services and Legal Departments, and Division Vice Presidents
Manage and improve their planning process; identify other opportunities for process improvement and develop solutions
Work collaboratively with division and department heads to collect, analyze, and synthesize data, and ensure achievement of quarterly and annual OKRs
Facilitate inter-division coordination on special projects and initiatives
Foster culture, mission, and vision through development of policies
What they’re looking for in a Chief Operating Officer:
Demonstrated experience scaling a startup and facilitating organizational change in a completely distributed, remote work environment
Enthusiasm and passion for their mission
Ability to understand the needs of the diverse business functions (marketing, HR, sales, finance) and customer segments of the organization
Strong leadership and relationship building skills - can engage and influence both direct and indirect reports and peers
Commitment to candor, integrity, and accountability as an employee and a leader
Exceptional communication and listening skills with a touch of humility
Experience and comfort working with a wide range of stakeholders ranging from board members to support staff
Ability to operate as an effective tactical and strategic thinker
Experience performing COO duties at a company that has scaled successfully, particularly in the SaaS, software, or marketplace industries
Knowledge of the following industries: home contracting, solar, energy efficiency, residential, new construction, real estate

Compensation and Benefits:
Market salary based on experience and local conditions, in the range $240K-$275K base salary.
Medical, vision and dental coverage provided for employees and their families, with optional upgrade coverage, where the employee covers only the difference in cost
