​Piper Maddox has partnered with a rapidly growing EV charging firm based out of Southern California dedicated to increasing accessibility to sustainable infrastructure for all. Their network boasts more than 7,000 charging stations, and they recently closed a $60M funding round - positioning them to skyrocket over the next 12 months.

They are in search of a Customer Support Director to join their team out of El Segundo in building and implementing the next generation of EV Charging solutions.


  • Provide strategic leadership for a team of internal and external specialists, including training, mentoring, and motivating to provide top-tier customer support

  • Develop and track KPIs for customer performance

  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product development, ensuring customer needs are met and end-user feedback is integrated into future development

  • Managed budget and P&L for customer support team, including hiring, training, and technology implementation and investment

  • Establish strategies to reduce customer turnover, improve satisfaction, and increase loyalty

  • Ensure prompt and effective resolution of customer issues, aligning with companie goals, and in compliance with applicable legal regulations and industry standards


  • 7+ years of experience in customer support or experience management with experience leading teams

  • Industry background within B2C or D2C facing software or tech business; experience within eMobility is a plus, but not required

  • Desire and excitement to work within a fast-paced, hands-on start-up environment

  • Knowledge of customer support software and tools, including CRMs and ticketing-systems
