​Piper Maddox has engaged on an exclusive search with the largest independent power producer and energy efficiency services provider in the world. The Director, Storage Development will lead a broad range of development and prospecting activities for projects within the client's portfolio of utility-scale renewable energy assets across the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating with Greenfield, M&A, and power marketing teams.

• Help set budgets, priorities for technology, geography and eutomer types.

• Coordinating with key stakeholders.

• Support energy offtake, financing, and project M&A discussions, including due diligence activities.

• Analyze market dynamic and interconnection queues to optimize utility-scale strategies.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 10 years related experience.

• Proven record of accomplishment in renewable energy development, including experience taking projects through financing.

• Evaluate viability of early stage and acquisition projects.

• Deep network in utilities.

​

SALARIES: $120,700-$307,190 / dependent on location, candidate qualifications etc.

LOCATION: Ideally onsite in Denver, CO or Houston, TX or Oakland, CA or Santa Barbara, CA. However, for the right person we can discuss remote opportunities, with the expectation that travel would be increased.
