​Director of Fleet Electrification – Remote in Eastern or Central Time Zones (New England, NY, Chicago, or Indianapolis Preferred)

Piper Maddox has been retained on a search with a leading transportation company, that has over 15,000 employees, and operates a fleet of over 11,000 vehicles across 23 states.

​

They are looking for a Director of Fleet Electrification.

​

This individual will be responsible for leading the transition of their fleet from ICE to electric. They will be solely responsible for all strategic electrification initiatives, both from a technical and commercial/policy perspective.

​

They will need to possess the technical background as they will look to this person to assist in the technical project scope writing, vehicle and associated equipment/infrastructure selection and deployment, service and maintenance planning, as well as working on the finance, strategy, and operational side while they grow their team.

​

This is a rare opportunity to work with a company that has already established themselves as a leader in their space, and is looking to bring on a transformational leader to continue to expand their EV offering.

​

The ideal candidate has:

• 10+ years of experience minimum.

• Background in Electrical or Civil Engineering.

• Experience working with electric fleets and the associated charging infrastructure.
