​Piper Maddox currently working with a VERY exciting renewable energy company that develops, finances, constructs, owns, and operates clean, renewable-energy projects in the United States.

They are looking for a Director of Origination and Regional Accounts in California AND Illinois to work remotely, generating and pursuing leads to help grow accounts within C&I projects & energy storage. We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience in Origination and/or Power Marketing for solar/storage across a diverse range of transaction types

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Communicates directly with potential customers and front-line originators to gain an understanding of customer needs in order to propose solutions, and/or negotiate deal structures and documents that meet those needs

• Gather relevant information and relay to internal engineering team and finance team in order to solve problems collaboratively for prospective and current clients

• Develop and tailor proposals to give to future/ prospective clients using internal resources

• Actively search to find leads and generate new business for the company, driving business development within your region.

• This role will focus on strategic direction for front of the meter development projects, identifying, negotiating, and executing agreement
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree

• Experience: 3+ years in business development and origination, preferably in renewable energy

• Ability to analyze, summarize, and communicate complex technical and financial information.

• Professional, self-disciplined, and honest.

• Strong financial analysis skills

• Familiarity with CRM systems, as well as MS Office Suite

• Remote Compatibility

• Ability to travel
