Piper Maddox is partnering with an amazing international Renewable Energy Producer to help them find a standout Project Development Leader to help them continue their amazing growth within the US. They develop, build, and operate renewable energy projects with a focus on providing green, affordable electricity to their customers. They have an amazing track record which enables them to continue their expansion in new and evolving markets.
They are looking for a Senior Development Leader to be responsible for leading the green-field development of Solar PV projects in Colorado. The primary focus of this role with be on project development, from green-field stage to NTP stage. This person will engage with potential energy off-takers for Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) negotiations and execution. As well as working cross-functionally with all departments across the organization.
Key Requirements:
Ideally looking for someone with 6-12 years of relevant work experience in the energy infrastructure/asset sector.
At least 5 years of project development experience in the utility-scale Solar industry.
Familiarity with project management methodologies and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Strong knowledge of project development in Colorado, with a proven track record of bringing ready-to-build projects to fruition from scratch.
