Electrical Design Estimator

Hybrid Working - UK

Key Responsibilities

· Produce electrical estimates and design in accordance with relevant standards
· Produce electrical designs/estimates, ensuring the use of computer-assisted engineering
· and design software (e.g. Trimble, Auto-CAD) for all electrical designs to ensure compliance
· To maximise opportunities within design, to improve installation, safety and O&M
· To identify deviations to designs where necessary, ensuring acceptance and approval by client
· Work closely with procurement to ensure BOM are available, updated and fit for purpose, advising on materials that cannot be substituted to reduce costs
· When required, provide technical interfacing with all other parties such as internal colleagues, clients or subcontractors
· Review the completed installation against the design
· When required, perform onsite surveys
· Provide technical, ethical, professional leadership, support and mentoring to junior colleagues
· Certified to18th Edition regulations, upskilling as and when the regulations are updated
· Any other reasonable duties within the job holder's level of competency and as specified by the Line Manager
