Piper Maddox have been engaged by a renowned, innovative, and award-winning aviation electrical systems producer that specialise in the design and development of on-board energy systems for leading aircraft manufacturers and OEMs around the world. The firm has been growing from strength to strength where sales in 2020 reached 16.5 billion euros despite the global pandemic which hit the Aerospace industry significantly.
You will support the business by having a hands-on role where you will be able to take projects from cradle to grave designing and defining the electromagnetic requirements for various projects.

As Electromagnetics Engineer, you will…
-Define and develop electromagnetic requirements for projects.
-Be responsible for the development of electromagnetic attributes of the systems.
-Hold in authority for the development of requirements at all levels from system, item, components, down to hardware level.
-Shall be undertake simulation and analysis at aircraft and system level.
-Define validation plans and ensure compliance through analysis, simulation and/or test as appropriate.
-Manage engagement with the supply chain on a technical level.
-Work with other technical divisions such as, systems engineers, systems architects mechanical systems engineers and system simulation engineers to guarantee the electromagnetic conditions are achieved.


The ideal candidate will be:
-Degree educated in electrical, electronic, or aerospace engineering.
-Able to demonstrate 5 years industry experience in the electromagnetic design of motors or generators.
-Comfortable delivering engineering design projects independently and as part of a team.
-Able to communicate and contribute to technical discussions with both internal and external customers and stakeholders.
-Passionate about sustainable technologies and the electrification of aircraft.
