Founded 11 years ago, my client has become an international business leading the development of the next generation of energy. They have developed a robust AI enabled internet platform but the range of products cover a spectrum in the Energy IoT industry.

They are looking for an EMEA Account director.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop an overall territory strategy as well as account level strategies to achieve revenue and margin goals.
* Develop a marketing and sales strategy to grow presence in larger players within the territory.
* Maintain, identify and grow key prospect relationships, particularly at the most senior operational levels;
* Become the clear "go to" individual for target client's organizations to leverage to develop and execute their strategies in new and existing European electricity sector market propositions.
* Operate the role in compliance with company sales and operational procedures, with impeccable adherence to the maintenance of CRM records.

* 5+ years' track record in creating over target new business performance within the European energy sector.
* 5+ years' experience of selling complex, high value, SaaS model software engagements with TCV in excess of €1 million.
* Clear and demonstrable track record of utilizing recognized sales methodologies to leverage high quality new business success in a competitive environment.
* 10+ years' engagement in the energy supply chain, with demonstrable understanding of business issues, challenges and solutions relevant to both regulated and deregulated players.
* Recent exposure to, and a genuine interest in the transformation of the grid and of flexibility solutions, particularly in relation to the implementation of DER and the importance of this evolution now, and in the future.
* Current, mature and effective senior level contacts and history within major organizations in the territory, creating the necessary authority to assume the role of "valued advisor" with prospects.
* A highly commercially and financially literate individual, with demonstrable experience of developing an articulating complex, multi variable business cases.
* Clear experience of contributing to success in a fast moving, rapidly evolving and highly agile commercial organization.
