They are seeking an Energy Storage Developer to join as a foundational member of their growing team. This is a trail blazing opportunity to join a business and support their explosive growth, playing a vital role & working closely with the founders at the forefront of their sophisticated, boots-on-the-ground projects.
This opportunity is based in the company headquarters in Washington, DC. However, flexible & remote working situations are available depending on preferences, qualifications, and willingness to travel.
My client is looking for an energetic, ambitious developer with a depth of technical understanding.
The ideal candidate will offer:
BA/BS in electrical engineering, energy management, renewable energy, or related degree Industry experience identifying market opportunities and developing project sites Project development experience in the energy sector Independent and proactive enough to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Identifying viable project sites and managing land acquisition; Working with team engineers on project scope and site design; Developing engineering estimates and project schedules; Managing EPC/integration partners from project design to execution and supporting on related contract negotiation efforts; Managing federal, state and local permitting challenges as/when they arise; Securing interconnection rights for the project; Representing the company with federal, state and local officials, regulators, utilities, RTOs, and other stakeholders throughout the project development process.
