One of the leading organizations in the EV infrastructure sector is looking for an Energy Storage Engineer to join their team to work across their diverse portfolio. Their mission is simple; to deliver net zero transport and scale against climate change through a technology-agnostic approach, that improves every day.

The don't only work on EV charging, they have operations in hybrid solar and storage sites, which this exciting new role would focus on. They have a holistic view to supporting the planet such as considering biodiversity on their solar and hybrid sites.

They aim to build a team of problem solvers and solution finders to some of the industries biggest challenges. The role:

This is a crucial role for the group, being a technical head to work on all of their hybrid and Energy Storage sites. Their edging towards project delivery and so this brand-new role has been created. You'll need to be motivated and technically minded, working alongside the Lead Energy Storage Engineer on these projects.

The main focus of this role is to have skills around BESS and electrical engineering as well as being technically minded around installations and utility connections.

The main responsibilities include:
- Carrying out on-site based commissioning and testing activities to ensure the sites are compliant with industry standards.
- Interfacing with other electrical teams and external stakeholders around SCADA systems and equipment vendors.
- Input and overseeing technical schedules including EPC contracts.
- Developing and creating the testing methods for systems and sites.
- Providing technical advisory around suppliers and safety compliance.
- Working closely with wider engineering teams, commercial and legal functions.
- Acting as an interface for DNOS.
- Maintaining and establishing relationships within the industry.
