Piper Maddox has partnered with an innovative EV charging-as-a-service firm based out of the Boston area, promoting accessibility to EV charging that knows no limits. This business is the first of its kind, and offers on demand mobile Level III charging services.
They are in search of an Engineering Project Manager to join their team facilitating the development of on-demand DC fast chargers. This role will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining all aspects of project effectiveness, quality, and cost - including maintaining project schedules, problem-solving, assisting in product development, supplier selection, manufacturing, and testing. Additionally, this role will play a part in defining future project plans, requirements, and strategy.
This is an in-office role based out of Sommerville.
Responsibilities:
Manage cross-disciplinary project and product development across the following: Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, Systems, and Test Engineering.
Develop and implement project plans, schedule, communications, and establish documentation and change control methodology.
Coordinate project budget and cash flow development.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure success.
Directly manage a cross-functional team of reports, developing appropriate roles and responsibilities.
Work closely with C-Suite, providing clear reports on project progress.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in engineering, program management, or technical project management
Experience managing hardware projects
Demonstrated experience within the EV industry
Familiarity with tools including Clickup, SmartSheets, JIRA, Upchain, or Confluence for project planning and tracking
Creative, communicative problem solver with a passion for fast-paced start-up environments
The estimated base salary for this position is $130,000 - $160,000, depending on relevant experience.
