Environmental Permitting and Regulatory Consultant - Energy and Sustainability

Piper Maddox are currently working with an environmental and sustainability focused client. They specialize in many sectors including low carbon infrastructure, renewable technology, and sustainable development.

This company are working on a wide range of industry leading projects with their clients on an international scale.

These projects include groundbreaking waste into non-hazardous energy conversion, alternative fuel production, and work with battery systems.

They are currently looking to bring a new consultant into their team with experience in environmental permitting regulations to assist in the management and production of environmental permitting applications across the range of sectors this company works within.

You would be working with the existing permitting team in a growing office where the sharing of expertise and guidance is highly supported.

Some crucial skills for this role:

* Experience in preparing and managing environmental permit applications.

* Knowledge of environmental permitting regulations (EPR), the industrial emissions directives (IED), and sector BREATH guidance.

* Comfortable with delivering different aspects of the permitting process including environmental risk assessments, site condition reports, and environmental management plans.

* Strong written and spoken communication skills, client liaison and management skills, and up to date knowledge of current environmental legislation are also key.
