As the EU Sales Director for AI-powered grid and energy management software, your primary responsibility will be to lead sales and generate revenue from clients across Europe, especially the UK and Nordic countries. You will leverage your industry expertise and network to establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, including utility companies, infrastructure providers, and governmental bodies. Your goal will be to position our cutting-edge software as an essential solution for the successful expansion of EV adoption and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Leadership:

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the UK and Nordic regions to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, providing guidance, setting goals, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with product development and marketing initiatives.

Client Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including utility companies, grid operators, charging infrastructure providers, and governmental entities.
Understand clients needs, challenges, and objectives, and position our software as a solution that addresses these requirements effectively.

Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the UK and Nordic markets by staying informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies.
Prospect and engage with potential clients, delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations that showcase the value of our AI-powered software.

Sales Cycle Management:

Lead the entire sales cycle, from initial engagement and needs assessment to contract negotiation and closing deals.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the proposed solutions align with client's technical requirements and expectations.

Market Intelligence:

Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and product offerings.
Provide insights to internal teams on customer preferences, market demands, and competitive positioning.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
Proven track record of at least 8-10 years in enterprise software sales, ideally in the energy, utility, or EV sector.
Experience in selling complex, technical solutions to C-level executives and decision-makers.
Strong network and existing relationships within the UK and Nordic energy and EV industries.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute plans and deliver results.
