Land Acquisition Manager - Solar & BESS - Remote - £65,000-£75,000

An international renewable energy IPP are looking to expand their development team to find their next Land Manager. This is due to expansion across the business and a growing pipeline which is currently sitting at 20 projects totally 2.1GW in the UK alone.

They are looking for a forward thinking individual with a genuine desire to learn new sectors, they are willing to consider people from backgrounds with transferable skills! They are willing to consider people from backgrounds with transferable skills! This is due to the fact they have support that can be offered by multiple senior members of the team that are in the position to be able to free up some of their time to ensure you maximize your professional development.

You would be coming in to work alongside the Head of Development to originate utility scale solar and battery storage projects. You would be going out to engage with landowners, negotiating HoT, option and lease, work alongside inhouse planning teams and grid teams to see ensure these projects reach ready to build status.

What's in it for you, you might be thinking? Well, not only would you be given full visibility across a truly international company, but you would be given the scope to progress to higher level roles which could eventually land you up in senior management roles and beyond.

They also offer fully remote working as they understand the fact that their employees have their own personal life which might not suit frequent office visits. In terms of the kind of package they would have on offer is above market average, provides a car allowance and has a per MW development scheme, so once a project reaches ready to build status you will get a very nice payout!

I think it's also important to remember that you can also expand your professional development by learning about other geographies in the business and how their development processes work - whose to say later down the line you couldn't get experience with another team? Opportunities are endless and there is no one set pathway for the individual that joins.
