Land Manager & Senior Land Manager positions - £70,000-£90,000 - access to London office desirable but very minimal due to site visits - NSIPs, solar, and BESS

Why is this different to your usual land role?:
After securing nearly 6GW of transmission grid connections 2 major investors in the space have paired up to create a JV which will see you going out and securing land for solar NSIPs and BESS.

The JV is really ambitious, seeking entrepreneurial people to join them on their mission to be the leading energy developer in the UK. They're well-funded, with the investor being part of the joint venture. This means that they have easy access to their funds, removing red tape and allowing for quicker decision making.

For the most part, a common complaint I find with land managers in the space is the lack of grid putting issues on their part of the development but this company can guarantee work that will go all the way up until 2036, with the view of continuing to add more connections under their belt.

You'd be working under their new development arm of the organization, with the wider group investing, owning and operating the assets once they have been built, so you'll get to see your work come to life!

What would your day look like but not be limited to?:
-Reaching out to landowners for both solar NSIPs and BESS projects
-Evaluate land ownership and land use restrictions
-Negotiating any land acquisition agreements, HoT, option and lease agreements
-Managing relationships with landowners and any other additional stakeholders involved
-Working alongside both investors to get visibility across the whole business
-Working alongside consultants, senior members of both investors, and project teams to make sure the land meets project requirements

A key attribute for this role will be someone who has a desire to grow within a company and reach heights most would not be given the opportunity to do. If you have ideas they will always be valued and listened to.
