This company has developed and financed 200+ projects totaling over a billion dollars in solar assets and they have managed over $450MM of institutional capital deployed and have recently raised over $1BB for utility scale solar growth. As such, they are seeking an experienced and talented Manager / Director of Risk who will be responsible to help facilitate the growth and management of their trading risk and investment business. This role will be primarily focused on assisting with managing the operations behind the trading team as well as developing risk management functions. This role will also come with a direct report of two with plans for further growth.
The ideal candidate would have amazing modeling skills, is very quantitative, and understands deal flow
Exposure to cQuant, would be great but is not required.
Software Exposure: Python is preferred, R or SQL is suitable.
The ideal candidate would have renewable energy exposure, but it is not required.
If not renewable energy, power is suitable.
Minimum years of experience, 3 years but the sweet spot is the 5+ years mark.
