Piper Maddox are supporting an Austrian-based business with big plans to shake up the eVTOL industry. They are developing ground-breaking propulsion technology that is completely unique in its execution. This patented technology has the ability to provide extremely high levels of manoeuvrability whilst operating sustainability. They are currently looking for a Mechanical design Engineer to join and help improve their technology and join the team in Austria. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be doing:

* Working within a small team improving the design of components for the business and supporting the design f future products
* Designing Jigs and Fixtures for test benches to validate the businesses technology
* Collaborating across other Engineering disciplines within the business to ensure successful development of technology
* Work with suppliers and evaluate different materials for the business' technology

What we are looking for:

* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relative discipline
* A few years of experience in Mechanical Design positions - ideally with rotating mechanisms
* Competent user of CAD systems - ideally CREO
* Any FEA experience would also be considered a bonus
* Passionate about being a key player in a small sustainable aviation-focused business
