Renewable Energy can't be the future anymore. It needs to be the present. And getting projects built is the key piece of the puzzle. This role will see you right at the heart of that, working for one of the industry's pioneers.

With a strong track record of developing and overseeing the construction of utility-scale battery storage projects, they rank among the top of the class in the UK Renewable Energy space.

As their construction team has grown, the need has arisen for someone to own the procurement and contracts function for them. Your role will be to own the entire process for the next round of projects, 500MW of BESS, from supporting on due diligence at project handover, running the tender process and selecting contractors and partners, reviewing and negotiating contracts, and supporting on future project financing.

You'll have full autonomy, and the remit to run this function in the way you know is best. As such, you'll need to come from an energy background (ideally wind or BESS), will need to be able to review single line diagrams etc., understand the balance of plant needed on a renewable energy site, and will need to know your way around a contract.

Key experience:
* Energy background - BESS, wind, Solar PV, biomass, gas peakers, etc.
* Technical understanding of renewables projects
* Contractual understanding and negotiation skills
