Piper Maddox has partnered with a California-based residential energy storage developer and aggregator. Our client offers consumers bundled solutions including energy storage, solar, and energy management to save homeowners money and provide smart, clean, and secure home energy.
Responsibilities
Manage cross-functional delivery of Grid Services commitments through bilateral contracts, open market participation, and direct-to-consumer programs.
Collaborate closely with other teams within the business, including Finance, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Operations, and IT, to orchestrate successful launch, sustained growth, and healthy programs.
For program launches, lead finalization of program design with attention to contractual obligations, operational model of storage systems, financing, product requirements, sales, installation, and customer experience.
Become an expert in residential and commercial energy storage systems, aggregation strategies, and energy market participation.
Requirements
Four-year Bachelor degree, preferably in a technical field such as Engineering or in Finance/Economics.
At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience, ideally as a project/program manager delivering solutions within the solar, storage, grid service, or electric utility industries.
Sound knowledge of the U.S. electric energy grid, including regulatory frameworks, marketplaces, business models, grid services, and distributed energy resources.
Experience delivering aggregated grid services, such as demand response, including an understanding of baseline methodologies, participant enrollment, portfolio management, settlement, dispatch management, OpenADR, and DERMs software integration.
Salary is based on experience
$120,000 - $135,000
