Piper Maddox has been engaged on a confidential search by one of the most exciting, and fastest-growing renewable energy finance & infrastructure firms in the nation!

With a sole focus on energy infrastructure development and project finance, the impetus for their foundation was the frustration that the managing partners experienced when noticing the growing disconnect in mindset between land originators and long-term asset owners. With such diametrically opposed goals and motivations, it was unrealistic to expect a smooth and seamless coordination and communication between these two entities.

Since 2019, the firm has been entirely dedicated to using the 35+ years of combined experience in the renewable sector to provide value to their customer base through a process with both efficiency and thoroughness at the top of their priority list. They have a pipeline consisting of 1.7GW of solar financed, 6.5GW of solar developed, and about 1GW of solar acquired in less than four years!

The organization is looking for an experienced Project Developer, who would play an integral role in ensuring the organization keeps up with the growing customer-demand they are experiencing off the heels of the IRA. This person will be a foundational piece of the puzzle to an organization that is projected to sit squarely on the forefront of the clean energy space by the end of the 2020s, and generate massive P&L gains over the span.

The ideal candidate would have

• 4-6 years of experience/exposure to solar and/or storage projects at the utility-scale (50MW+)

• Comprehensive understanding of the project development lifecycle

• A drive to succeed and contribute positively to the growth of a young and exciting business
