Piper Maddox are currently working with a UK based developer of renewable energy assets. With the company being stably backed investment-wise, they plan to grow into an IPP in the future.

They are aiming to grow their existing portfolio into 3GW of solar energy and BESS renewable energy projects. With this growing pipeline of projects, our client is looking to expand their planning team to assist in the management of a wide variety of NSIPs, DCO applications, and TCPA projects.

Your role within the company's compact planning team would involve the review of complex planning applications, EIA screening, local authority liaison, and stakeholder management. You would be joining a tight-knit and compact team, allowing for clear communication and interaction between the other teams within the business.

Some important experience for this position:

 Experience working within the UK planning system.
 Ability to work independently on projects as well as assisting the wider team.
 Extensive experience in project and external planning consultant management.
 Strong commercial acumen and know-how for renewable energy projects.

Prior experience in the renewable energy sector would be highly useful for this role. However, if you have strong DCO/NSIP experience from a transferable sector, feel free to get in touch.
