​Here is an opportunity with a private equity investment management firm focused on real estate and energy sectors. They are building an analytics platform and are looking for an experienced individual to run the analytics behind battery trading. This individual will lead a team of 3-5 peoples, so will be a lead but also not afraid to do the day to day operates that the role requires. This role will provide a lot of financial and career growth being in this industry and their strong financial background.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in project evaluation and due diligence for new projects.

• Coordinate with industry entities for project interconnection.

• Develop power flow and dynamic models.

• Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes.

• Support business development and commercialization efforts.

• Maintain internal databases for financing models.

• Provide materials for investment committee meetings.

• Lead a team of 3-5 individuals

Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctorate Degree in Electrical Engineering

• 5-10 experience in Transmission analysis and Power markets

• Experience with PSS/E and PSLF

• Knowledge of NERC/FERC

• Located in Austin, Texas or Denver, Colorado
