Senior/Principal Power Systems Engineer- Renewable Energy Consultancy
Bristol/London/Glasgow/Edinburgh/Hybrid- £50,000-£85,000 DOE

Over the last decade, my client has become a leading consultancy across the full project lifecycle, offering support to various clients in the renewable energy space.

They are a high quality, trusted team of technical advisors, delivering expert industry consultancy knowledge. They work from early project feasibility and establishment, through permitting, design and asset management stages even right up to decommissioning. They have recently celebrated their 10 year anniversary, and over the last decade they have worked relentlessly to ensure they are providing high quality and pragmatic advice to clients.

They have had a really great year, which has seen them grow the team out significantly throughout the next few months. They are looking for power systems engineers at various levels to support this growth and to extend their work further. They have recently won several new clients and projects which will see high level technical work become their focus for the next year- so it's a great time to be part of this team!

This role would be within the technical power systems team, which is currently around 5 members, and works closely with the wider engineering function.

The role:
As the organisation is hiring across various levels, skillsets with different levels of experience would be of interest for this position. If you are able to complete some of these skills, reach out and we can discuss which level would be the best fit.
- Engaging with DNO and TSO for grid connection agreements
- Working closely with grid codes, so strong experience and knowledge with the compliance processes around the application process
- Hands on experience conducting and completing power systems studies including load flow, short circuit, fault ride through and dynamic studies. This ideally would be done using Power Factory or DIgSILENT.
- Working alongside the wider engineering team and other departments, so strong stakeholder management skills would be great
