As part of its focus on sustainability, the group has added UCP Choice to its UK Family of businesses.

UCP Choice a TSG UK Company; is a leading national provider of high-voltage connections helping to accelerate the move to electric vehicles and renewable energy. Based in Cambridge, they offer a full-service including design, equipment supply, project management, installation and maintenance to the EV, battery storage and solar market.

As an independent connection provider (ICP) UCP Choice is accredited to carry out a vast array of infrastructure works, including but not limited to; civils, electrics, cabling, steel towers and substation installations.

As part of their new relationship, they are looking to add Site Managers to join their commercial division. The successful candidate will be working very closely with the project manager, clients, contractors, to ensure the project is done within budget and time.

Key Responsibilities:

*Working closely with the Project Manager to ensure that the project requirements, drawings and health and safety are all read and understood.
*Maintain the work schedule and track progress.
*Manage and Evaluate stock and materials.
*Supervise and oversee sites to ensure all health and safety requirements are met.
*Attend relevant meetings and make key notes.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

*Must be suitably qualified with appropriate knowledge and experience of the operational aspects, safe working practices, UCPC safety procedures, legislations, and technical reference documents.
*Good understanding of commercial projects building projects, involving the supervision of the project and staff and/or a Construction Management degree plus some site experience.

*SMSTS (Site Manager Safety Training Scheme) qualification.
*Understanding of technical drawings.
*Good verbal and communication skills.
*Willingness to travel across sites.
