​­­Piper Maddox is actively engaged in a search for a Software Integrations Leader for one of the USA’s leading Energy Storage Solutions (ESS) technology companies. With a $100M earned in their last funding round and over 3GWh of utility scale energy storage projects installed across the US, this company is growing quickly and looking to add an experienced and motivated software engineer to help them continue to scale.

With a large opportunity for growth and internal mobility, the ideal candidate will enjoy working with cutting edge technologies and the opportunity to partner with some of the best-in-class utilities, government agencies, and industrial companies across the globe.

The ideal candidate will:

·         Have a minimum of BS degree in engineering or related technical field.

·         Have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of work experience as an engineer or technical project manager.

·         Have experience in or an understanding of energy storage system firmware/software, or similar software for power converters, renewable energy and power generation.

·         Manage a team of talented software engineers.

·         Interface with internal and external stakeholders as well as demonstrate strong project management skills.

·         Be based in or open to relocation to Durham, North Carolina.

·         Be willing to travel 20-25% of the year based on commissioning schedule.
