Subcontractor Manager
Milton Keynes / London - Flexible working - (remote UK).

The TSG Charge UK team is the UK's number one provider of engineering procurement construction and leads the way in the deployment and management of EV infrastructure. TSG offers game-changing EV charging solutions; it has installed over 20,000+ charging points in the UK and has recently won a large contract to deliver a charging network across Europe. TSG Charge is hardware agnostic and works with all major manufacturers, allowing the team to deliver charging installation projects that have maximum impact on communities across the continent.

Principal Objectives:
Oversee the onboarding and management of subcontractors. Ensuring subcontractors meet our requirements for becoming an installation and maintenance partner. Checking accreditations, qualifications and quality auditing. Monitoring subcontractors work and timescales and ensuring all H&S and other company and regulatory policies and procedures are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities:
*Identifying suitable subcontractors to carry out work on TSG's behalf
*Onboarding of subcontractors
*Vetting subcontractors work, accreditations and qualifications
*Ensuring all accreditations and insurances are kept in date
*Perform audit and surveillance duties on sites operated by partners and sub-contractors
*Obtain HSE and toolbox talk data from subcontractors
*Attend sites to audit subcontractors for safety, compliance and work quality
*Ensure subcontractors meet SLA's and KPI's
*Challenge subcontractors as required
*Work with other departments to ensure the subcontractors are working in line with their program of works
*Ensure internal TSG departments provide the subcontractors with the correct documentation to complete the works requested
*Hold subcontractors to a high standard
*Reporting in line with SLT requirements
*Roll out toolbox talks as required
*Resolve contract disputes
*Ensure subcontractors are provided with PO's and paid on time in line with contracts
*Ensuring adherence to relevant industry standards, regulations including Health & Safety policies and regulations
*Work with HSE manager to provide H&S investigation information and follow up actions
*Negotiate schedule of rates and SLA's
*Other duties as required

Skills & Abilities Required for This Position (Essential):
*Minimum 2 years in a similar role
*Good communication skills
*Excellent IT skills including MS Project
*Methodical approach
*The role holder will require to be flexible as the role will involve a large amount of travel and flexibility in hours worked.
*Full current UK driving license
*Accredited by RICS
*H&S experience and/or Qualification
*CDM Management an advantage
*Safe site awareness
*Good communication skills are required, good ability to plan and to monitor installation teams in a fast-changing environment
