Piper Maddox are proud to be representing a prominent ISP in the global Wind Energy market on a retained basis to recruit a critical position for their North American business.

The Tender & Key Account Manager position has been created to take ownership of business-critical work currently handled by the President. This person will be responsible for leading all aspects of sales and tender preparation/estimating for projects in the US & Canada.

We are looking for a professional in the wind farm construction industry with a sound commercial acumen and passion for negotiation and business administration. This is a prominent role within the business reporting directly to the President with a dotted line into the CCO in Europe.

The purpose of this role is to handle the many ongoing RFQs being completed by the business to help not only win the business but to identify any risks, contractual obligations and commercial impacts upon contract execution. You will also play a key role in managing relationships with new and existing customers through the life cycle of the project.

Essential Experience Required:

*Experience in the Wind Energy Industry & Construction.
*A sound knowledge of construction contracts, enough in order to interrogate and identify potential areas of concern the business may need to address.
*Comfortable dealing with legal concepts relevant to this line of work.
*Strong negotiation & people skills to handle challenging stakeholders and vendors.
*Passion for the industry and your work; it will be essential for this person to be committed to delivering the best result and keeping abreast of how projects are progressing.


You may have gained this experience in a similar role, relevant areas of work could include Procurement, Sales or Operations. Ideally if applying for this role you will be experienced enough have your own network to leverage with OEM's and Operators already.

This role will require national & international travel up to 30% of the time.
