​Piper Maddox are currently engaged on a VP of Development opportunity with an independent renewable power producer that develops, funds, and operates storage assets, distributed utility-scale solar and solar-plus-storage project portfolios across the US.

​

The VP of Development manager will lead all aspects of Solar and Solar+storage project development, to include site control, permitting and interconnection, and preparing projects for financing and construction. This role will be critical in developing new target markets inline with their expansion plans.

​

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review key site control and revenue contracts.

• Manage interconnection process - POC with the utility companies.

• Stakeholder management - development partners and vendors.

• Ensure state and local projects get approved.

• Prepare and manage project budgets and schedules.

​

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in renewable energy development or project management - minimum of 4 years in solar.

• Travel required for client meetings.

• Happy to be on-site in the Jersey City, NJ office 3+ days per week.

• US Citizen or Greencard holder
