Warehouse and Logistics Manager
Piper Maddox is supporting an electric vehicle OEM founded in 2021 in Los Angeles, CA to manufacture, distribute, market, and support some of the most influential products in the market. They were spun out from one of the largest companies in the automotive space, and have a long-standing track record in the industry, coupled with an innovative, growth-oriented mindset in a search for a Warehouse and Logistics Manager.
They are looking for a Warehouse and Logistics Manager to manage the flow of accurate inventory throughout our network inclusive of logistics execution both inbound and outbound. This individual will lead the strategy, direction, and execution of their spend with various 3PL’s including establishing the appropriate process, controls, and overall engagement.
Responsibilities for this role include:
Strong performance of inventory and transactional accuracy throughout the warehouse and of material movements. Manage team effectiveness via KPI’s such as dock-to-stock, inventory accuracy, cycle-counts, picks per person, aftermarket on-time delivery fulfillment, etc.
Manage a combined team of 30+ full-time employees covering aftermarket fulfillment, warehouse, manufacturing support, and inbound/outbound logistics execution.
Lead and project/program manage the standup, inventory move, and overall set up of new third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses as our business operations expands.
Ideal Candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in business (supply chain, operations, business administration) or equivalent working experience. 10+ years in industrial-setting manufacturing, 3PL management, warehouse/logistics execution experience.
Demonstrated history of excelling in a fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing environment. Effectively navigate ambiguity across people, systems, data to arrive at business decisions and institute change / continuous improvement.
Data-driven leadership utilizing analytics/statistical tools to drive business improvements (e.g. ABC analysis, creating KPI’s/metrics, etc).
