Position: Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Project Engineer to drive the development and implementation of our innovative clean energy technologies and solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers (mechanical, electrical, software) and suppliers to develop and document system specifications.
  • Leading the development of control software, integrating various components such as pumps, valves, engines, controllers, and compressors from concept to final implementation.
  • Creating and executing test plans to ensure system functionality and software quality.
  • Documenting test outcomes and presenting findings to the engineering team and management.
  • Overseeing system commissioning activities at client locations.
  • Defining and specifying Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
  • Traveling to test sites for hands-on system testing.
  • Performing engineering calculations related to heat transfer, efficiency, pressure drop, and more.
  • Occasionally traveling to other company locations to collaborate with team members across different regions.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience integrating various systems, including pumps, valves, compressors, engines, generators, and controllers.
  • Proven experience with Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPs).
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • Strong foundational skills in engineering principles such as thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and energy systems.
  • Track record of developing products from initial concept through to customer delivery.
  • Expertise in instrumentation specification (e.g., flow, temperature, pressure).
  • Proficiency in understanding and creating Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Experience with LabVIEW programming (preferred).
  • Field experience in testing power generation equipment (preferred).
  • Knowledge of renewable energy systems, including solar power, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with concentrated solar power technologies, including heliostats, energy storage, and power generation, is a plus.
  • Strong desire to work in a collaborative, dynamic team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
