E-Bus Technical Manager

We are currently looking for an E-Bus Technical Manager to spearhead the technical aspects of E-Bus assembly, inspection, quality control, and after-sales support for one of our clients. They are a Portuguese company fully focused in providing Smart energy and Smart charging solutions across Europe. Reporting to the Mobility Business Unit Manager, this role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless functioning of after-sales services, maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction, and accelerating the decarbonization of heavy-duty fleets.

Responsibilities:
* Establish comprehensive after-sales support solutions for E-Buses across various markets.
* Oversee technical service providers to ensure customer requirements and expectations for E-Bus repair, maintenance, and after-sales support are met.
* Monitor E-Bus assembly processes to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
* Coordinate Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) activities to verify E-Bus functionality and quality before customer handover.
* Manage relationships with suppliers to maintain high-quality standards and ensure stock availability.
* Draft commercial proposals and answers to tenders
* Collaborate closely with partners to ensure the quality and timely delivery of E-Buses, driving continuous improvement.

Candidate Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
* Proven experience in a similar role within the electric heavy-duty vehicle industry.
* Strong technical background in heavy-duty vehicles, particularly E-Bus technologies.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in supplier management and quality assurance processes.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient English language abilities to effectively communicate in both written and verbal forms.
* Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software applications.
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
* On-site and remote work flexibility.
