Senior Manager, Procurement

Piper Maddox are partnered with an industry leading utility scale development business as they look to expand their Procurement teams across the US. With over 60GW of development pipeline this role is crucial to their growth across the US.

This role is critical to the ongoing success of the team, and they are keen to hire a experienced professional who can take the lead on complex and high value negotiations.

What you will do:

Work with the wider Procurement group to asses and evaluate all supplier proposals.
Take the lead on all negotiations with EPC firms. With an emphasis on pricing and mitigating all risk.
Manage all internal and external stakeholder conversations on topics such as pricing, budgets and scheduling.
Manage the full sourcing process including demand/market analysis, RFI, RFPs, Negotiations, Contracting and Supplier Awarding.

What you will have:

A minimum of 10 years experience working in a Procurement role.
Prior experience handling negotiation on large scale, high value supplier agreements. (Ideally north of $15 million).
Must have a strong background working on Construction projects, Renewable Energy experience is a strong preference.
