This is an opportunity to join an international environment where you will have direct influence on engineering processes, technical standards, and project delivery — working closely with development, EPC, construction, commissioning teams, and external stakeholders.

The Opportunity

As Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality electrical engineering across utility-scale renewable energy projects. You will support projects from early technical concepts through to commissioning, helping to standardise processes and improve engineering excellence across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review technical documentation including single-line diagrams, protection concepts, earthing concepts, and technical specifications
  • Provide technical input during tender processes, including bid support, technical evaluations, and contractor discussions
  • Support FAT/SAT processes, commissioning preparation, and project acceptance activities
  • Collaborate with EPC partners, construction teams, project developers, and external engineering stakeholders
  • Contribute to SCADA, monitoring, CAD planning, and wider system integration activities
  • Ensure projects comply with relevant electrical standards, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through engineering templates, checklists, and standardisation processes

About You:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Several years of experience delivering electrical engineering for utility-scale solar PV projects
  • Strong knowledge of medium voltage systems, protection technology, and electrical design principles
  • Experience with BESS projects is highly advantageous
  • Familiarity with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, DIgSILENT, or similar software
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across development, EPC, and construction teams
  • Fluent English skills; German or additional European languages are advantageous
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required

What’s on Offer:

  • Permanent position with an attractive salary package
  • Opportunity to work on large-scale PV and BESS projects across Europe
  • International and collaborative working environment
  • Direct communication with senior leadership and short decision-making processes
  • Flexible working arrangements with a strong focus on work-life balance
  • Individual development opportunities and training
  • Additional benefits including company bike scheme
