Senior Construction Superintendent

Federal Energy | Large-Scale Electrical Infrastructure
Location: Southern California Project Site | Some travel required
Reports to: VP of Operations

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale federal energy infrastructure projects.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for construction execution, subcontractor coordination, safety, quality, schedule, logistics, and site productivity. The successful candidate will have a strong track record delivering complex electrical infrastructure projects, ideally within secure federal facilities.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day field construction activities.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and multiple trades.
  • Drive productivity, schedule performance, and project execution.
  • Lead daily coordination and safety meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, project safety requirements, plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate structural steel, electrical, civil, commissioning, and closeout activities.
  • Develop and manage three-week look-ahead schedules and support CPM schedule execution.
  • Identify field conflicts, schedule risks, and recovery opportunities.
  • Manage site logistics, deliveries, equipment, laydown areas, and site access.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, punch-list completion, and commissioning.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports and QA/QC documentation.
  • Act as the senior field representative with clients, prime contractors, federal representatives, inspectors, and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of commercial construction supervision experience.
  • 10+ years supervising large-scale electrical infrastructure projects.
  • 7+ years of federal construction experience.
  • Proven experience managing projects valued at $10M+.
  • Extensive experience with:
    • Commercial & industrial solar
    • Medium-voltage systems
    • Structural steel
    • Electrical equipment installation
    • Commissioning
    • Secure federal facilities

OSHA 30 required.

OSHA 500, EM 385 40-Hour, First Aid/CPR, and NCCER Superintendent certification are preferred.

A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, although equivalent experience will be considered.

Candidates must be able to successfully complete required background investigations and satisfy project-specific security requirements for access to secure federal facilities.

 

Technical Skills

Experience with Procore, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, digital plan management, daily reporting, and QA/QC documentation is preferred.

Project Manager Construction | Copenhagen As the Project Manager of Construction, you will be an integral part of an experienced and international team and you will deal with all aspects of delivering high quality charging stations across Denmark. In this role, you are working in close cooperation with the Construction Lead Emerging Markets as well as the Country Manager Denmark. The responsibilities include acquisition and realization of grid connections, the collaboration with engineering and construction partners, as well as the material supply and planning of construction execution.
