Key Responsibilities include: Lead engineering and design activities for major transmission line projects, supporting projects from development through construction and delivery.Take ownership of projects from approximately 10% design, with the potential to join projects already progressing through 30–60% design.Lead the planning of engineering activities, including technical scope, budgets, schedules, and overall design strategy.Manage and oversee external engineering consultants across 1–3 major transmission projects, ensuring design work is timely, cost-effective, technically robust, and aligned with project requirements.Review detailed design packages, engineering studies, and technical deliverables to ensure compliance with permitting, land, customer, financing, and construction requirements.Coordinate closely with internal development, construction, commercial, permitting, land, and other project stakeholders to identify and mitigate engineering risks.Oversee key transmission engineering scopes including structure engineering and testing, geotechnical investigations, utility crossings, encroachments, and other route-related design considerations.Support technical due diligence, fatal flaw analysis, early-stage development opportunities, and potential acquisitions.Participate in field visits and stakeholder discussions to evaluate route suitability, constructability, and technical considerations.Develop and manage engineering RFPs, consultant contracts, MSAs, and service orders while maintaining strong relationships with external engineering partners.Stay at the forefront of developments in high-voltage transmission and HVDC technology, bringing new capabilities, lessons learned, and best practices into the organization. Electrical Design Engineer – Power Systems About the RoleAn established organisation operating within the energy and infrastructure sector is looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to support the development and delivery of complex power system projects. The role will involve electrical engineering and design activities across high-voltage infrastructure, grid-connected energy projects, and associated electrical systems. The successful candidate will bring practical design experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively as part of multidisciplinary project teams. Essential Experience & Qualifications Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline.Professional experience in high-voltage electrical engineering and design.Experience working on power infrastructure, substations, grid connections, renewable energy, or similar electrical projects.Good understanding of high-voltage primary equipment, including switchgear, transformers, busbars, instrument transformers, and associated systems.Experience with secondary systems, including protection, control, automation, and monitoring.Practical experience using power system analysis and simulation software.Familiarity with electrical design and drafting software.Understanding of relevant international electrical standards and grid requirements.Ability to interpret and produce technical drawings, calculations, specifications, and engineering documentation.Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.Good written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Desirable Experience Experience in renewable energy or energy storage projects.Experience with grid connection and network compliance requirements.Knowledge of modern protection and control systems.Familiarity with digital substation technologies and electrical communications protocols.Experience with power system modelling and electromagnetic transient analysis.Previous experience supporting projects through design, construction, testing, and commissioning.Professional engineering registration or equivalent qualification.Additional European language skills would be advantageous. Project Manager Construction | Copenhagen As the Project Manager of Construction, you will be an integral part of an experienced and international team and you will deal with all aspects of delivering high quality charging stations across Denmark. In this role, you are working in close cooperation with the Construction Lead Emerging Markets as well as the Country Manager Denmark. The responsibilities include acquisition and realization of grid connections, the collaboration with engineering and construction partners, as well as the material supply and planning of construction execution. You will monitor the schedules and budgets and coordinate with numerous internal and external stakeholders from Denmark and abroad. This role will take you to visit business partners or sites, where you will be able to demonstrate negotiation skills, a hands-on mentality, high quality standards and an eye for details. In addition, you will create a roadmap for construction scaleup in a new country by identifying new local partners, by analyzing standards and by ensuring safety compliance at different stages of the project.
