Piper Maddox is exclusively partnering with a fascinating business developing, owning, and operating standalone energy storage projects across the US. This role will offer an opportunity to come in as an early member of their team and have a huge impact on how the business continues to grow.

The business is a wholly owned subsidiary of a major international energy company and has the financial backing and support to grow at an incredible scale over the next several years. They have a healthy pipeline and some great targets they will be looking to hit and are building out a team to help them accomplish these goals.

We are currently looking for a Project Development Manager to join their team as they continue to expand their project development team and open new opportunities in the business. You will be working on a team of 6 project developers as a more senior member with ownership over 1-2 power markets to help the company continue to grow.

Required Experience

  • Ideally looking for someone with 5+ years' experience working in utility-scale or DG energy storage, solar or wind.
  • It would be great if this person had experience in ERCOT, but experience in NYISO, ISO-NE, or PJM is also a massive bonus.
  • Experience with the full spectrum of project development bringing a project through mid to late-stage development and through the interconnection agreements.
  • Experience in real estate, permitting, tax optimization, and policy.

(SELL-SIDE) Investment Manager - Solar/BESS - Salary DOE - LondonThe role of the Investment Manager would be to manage and optimize the monetization of development projects that get to RtB. This would include developing strategies for the sale, construction, or financing of projects or critical milestones, such as reaching COD or arranging sales of project rights.In order to do well at this job the right candidate should have a very deep understanding of project finance, asset monetization, and project valuation.This company specialize in the development of both TCPA, and DCO level solar/BESS projects and between them have over 150 years' worth of experience.They are a small-size team which a close-knit culture not looking to grow rapidly so that all their employees get full visibility across the business.What would your role look like?:*Project Monetization Strategy:Design and implement strategies to maximize the monetization of development projects when they reach the RTB stage.
